I am a visual storyteller. Shapes, marks and different media are what I use to communicate a cohesive and creative narrative. My love for ideation and creating led me to study design and communication where I met Marlee and this marked the beginning of an exciting new life adventure–becoming a design team!
Combined with a degree in Anthropology from the University of Victoria, 15 years in the tourism sector where I worked for Tourism Tofino and Parks Canada, I focus on how my designs impact the human experience in a way that is both visually appealing and user-friendly. Nature has long been a place that provides me with space and time to work through my thoughts and replenish my creative well. My best ideas come together when I am out on long walks with my dog, Nimpkish, along the coast or in the forest.
I grew up in North Vancouver, received a degree in Visual Arts from Emily Carr University, and travelled extensively before moving to Vancouver Island with my husband, Dave. My art career led me to take a design and communication program where I met Ghislaine and the rest is history.
